I am a native Californian but have lived in the Northwest since my teens so my roots are here now. It's been a great place to raise a family and now that my kids are grown, my Labradoodle and our three cats are the "kids" we dote on. I am a sports fan, especially the Seahawks! I love movies, music and BBQ. I actually have a Traeger pellet smoker, a Big Green Egg and a Weber charcoal grill but don't get to use them enough, sadly. I would say my favorite activity is travel, again not enough time to do much these days! If I could live anywhere that I have visited, it would be Kauai in Hawaii. That place just makes me feel better and i can't wait to visit again. I hope that gives you a glimpse into my background and thanks for looking me up!

Airplane Lake Fire 30 Miles NE of Leavenworth Continues to Grow
Gusty winds and a lack of rain from recent thunderstorms helped the Airplane Lake Fire grow approximately 1,200 acres in the last few days. The lightning caused fire in the White River drainage of the Glacier Peak Wilderness was reported July 7th and is considered at 0% containment.
