USFS Burning Large Slash Pile Near Beaver Valley Road Today

The U.S. Forest Service is burning a large slash pile today off Beaver Valley Road, between Plain and Lake Wenatchee.

Flames and smoke will be visible from Beaver Valley Road, and drivers in the area may notice increased smoke throughout the day.

Officials say the burn is part of ongoing forest management work and ask the public to avoid the area if possible and use caution when traveling nearby.
