The Wenatchee Wild were one of the last eight teams standing in the British Columbia Hockey League postseason, but the Penticton Vees will be the team continuing its quest for the Fred Page Cup after their Interior Conference semifinal meeting Wednesday at Town Toyota Center.

The conference semifinal series is a best-of-seven affair, with the Vees to potentially host four of the seven games, including the first two games on Friday, April 14 and Saturday, April 15. The series shifts to Wenatchee for a pair of weeknight games on Tuesday, April 18 and Wednesday, April 19.

Despite a 6-2 loss in Penticton, the Wenatchee Wild clinched their spot in the BCHL Fred Page Cup playoffs by way of the Merritt Centennials’ 5-1 loss to the Salmon Arm Silverbacks.
